Funny that german articles is almost half of english articles compare to the rest. :kek:

Do everyone like german language much? :wtf:
It's not about the German language being popular but rather more people who speak German being interested in doing interesting/helpful stuff like that.
Even if the internet speed is kinda slow there, Germany contributes a lot to the internet in many ways from open-source software and user-generated content to Wikipedia editors. It's not just quantity but quality also.
That's also why the .de domain is in the top 3 ccTLDs.

... I mean, it's not the only source but it's not a bad one either, depending on the subject !

That's like having a doctorate in a subject compared to most people nowadays. Getting false info from ai chat bots and not once thinking it could be wrong.

I mean... actually reading a wikipedia article does put her over 90% of people talking about the subject. They only read headlines.
Even then people will deny you are right for some reason or other.

I discussed WH40K lore with some moron in Reddit (yes, my fault) and when I linked the fucking wiki page that retard went with the old "its propaganda/ideological bs"

I keep running into people who just ask AI and never check the sources, and act like that's a flex.

I also keep seeing people who get mad about "deceptive" headlines like the headline is supposed to be the whole story, and should include "important" information like [REDACTED TO AVOID POLITICAL DERAIL].

Of course, both sides do it.

To be fair, It is annoying when there is a headline like "SANDWICHES HAVE RAT POISON IN THEM!", spiking your blood pressure, and you click on it and it's "There is research suggesting that eating 1000 sandwiches a day kills lab mice, due to small quantities of chemical that is also used in rat poison to mask its smell". I do believe it affects your health negatively long term

I don't mean clickbait, which has been a thing since before the internet.

I'm talking about people who want headlines to mention that certain alleged criminals are members of certain groups, even when there's no evidence that group membership had anything to do with the crime.

Imagine a headline said "Police seek local man in connection with armed robbery", and someone said, "Whoa, why didn't you mention that he wears glasses!"

What they're actually complaining about is the fact that the headline didn't validate their prejudices about [glasses-wearers]. They want people to see the headline and generalize to millions of other [glasses-wearers].

I have argued with these folks. Both sides of the aisle. They are very stubborn.
