remember how when nono had ears and got it removed and the doc was baiting neon to get lovey dovey with nono and he was like "rabbits die of loneliness" hence imo she was super fucking attached ONLY to mikan thx to side effects that no one seemed to notice, not wanting to lose mikan, not wanting to lose ears etc the ima rape u like nono tried to when the side effects got even stronger was the thing that set it off for me, the HEY u have same side effects as nono made me think she had it the whole time and no one noticed hence it sort of all makes sense why it was so dam hard for nono to capture neon because all neons focus was on mikan, whelp thats my theory

@Lilliwyt hmmmm maybe you didn't understand what i wrote or maybe i didn't you, what I was stating was the theory of NEON having side effects this whole entire series (or even before the series began) being the reason why she was never into Nono 100% and somehow no one noticing UNTIL her side effects grew and exploded in ch 17 with her passing out

@dokidoki Her side effects was Extreme vigilance, it was state in Ch.2 by Mikan after the assault of Nono. Basically Nono close herself when someone cross the line of her territory and since well you can say that the first encounter between them was not very wholesome then Neon was still on guard toward Nono because of that, but she was seen time and time to actually open up a little bit. I think the heat side effect is a common one for all rabbit ears users but it come to a different degree and depending on the person. Nono was in heat since start because she was already like that before and the ears just amplified it when for Neon it's because Mikan was her comfort zone, the one who she could rely on and when she learn about the dating, she was sad because she thought that Mikan would abandon her for Chika. But when Nono told hershe can take the place of Mikan, she probably snap and goes in heat because of her latent feeling for Nono being more romantic love than the sisterly love she had for Mikan.

I don't know if i'm clear or not.

Enjoyed and I felt like it ran its course.

Sure it could have dragged itself on with all sorts of different animal ear types and their characteristics, but it managed to cover enough fetishes.

For what was just a comedy about animal eared girls doing pervy dumb things, I think each character had enough progression and a nice conclusion to their relationships. Though Neon's love seemed a skewed into 'You said you'll never leave me, so I love you'.
