Is it ongoing or does it end? Either way, does it start dragging later on? Some stories get caught up in being popular and keep going long after the story stopped being interesting. I'm guessing this one hasn't done that yet, at least to the point you've read.

It is marked as 'completed', but the author has written a large number of 'side stories' and occasionally comes back to add more. I'm about 3/4 through the main story.

This author (Hanami Nishine) doesn't need to keep milking the same cow. They have multiple other good stories which I hope someone will translate eventually. One of the better ones actually is translated and can be found on novelupdates: "My Engagement Got Broken, But I Don’t Remember Getting Engaged in the First Place." It has quite a beginning: in a very pubic venue, a woman gets confronted by her 'fiancé' and the slightly fearful girl at his side and gets told "I'm breaking off this engagement!" Her answer is "who are you?" She's not amnesiac or anything, she just genuinely has no idea who this person is.

It's a tiring trope, but at least it's not used exhaustively here for now.
