Too soon to rate, but it's already completed with only 15 chapters, and short ones too.
I don't know what kind of development to expect, but I guess it either has only one arc (and then how is anything supposed to happen between them?) or it has multiple ones and everything will be rushed.
Moreover, 1 month for so few lines of dialogue. That will be one year and a half for something that short... Eh... I think I'll pass.

I waited a long time for this story to resume. I'm truly disappointed. I had to lower the initial score I gave it from 9 to 7. It was overwhelmingly rushed. The author was so dispassionate from how it started. The love completely disappeared. It's reflected in the work. This was such a sad waste of its potential.

Eh... it's a bit too fixated on its lore to and the monster of the week stuff to really spend much time building the chemistry between the leads, in such a short story you need to have better focus and pacing than this.
I don't fully agree with what's been said before.
In my opinion, the ending isn't rushed, though it does stand out that the drama is resolved off-screen and the ending leaves many loose ends.
The romance is indeed neglected and lacking (even the indirect kiss scene doesn't convey any romantic feelings, lol), but that's not a result of focusing too much on the lore and stuff. The worldbuilding and the lore are lacking too.
I don't know if there's a written short story that served as inspiration for this, it could work well with proper explanations and stuff, but this web comic is definitely neglecting many things.
The shell of this is more or less complete, but the execution is definitely lacking soul.
The art is quite nice, though.
