I find it funny they consider a wolf to be the apex. Tigers, bears? Hell even elephants, rhinos, hippos? Hell, they're a pack animal, one on one a lot of "herbervores, even those outside the three i listed above would trample them. I guess the carnivore types in this work are naturally better at fighting and the herbervores have no drive to train/learn, but wolves would still be middle of the pecking order. I know wolves are chosen due to the aesthetic and easy horny comparison (big bad wolf gobbling the rabbit/lamb type deal) but still.

And my memory isn't the best, but is 5 years typical for most people to forget what someone important to them looks like?
