The combination of hyphen and dashes in that sentence made me read it twice.

And I didn't realize this manga was part of a timeline when I picked it up. The artist really likes their OC

I must say. I just saw this in my updates out of nowhere and decided to take a look, but I wouldn't pay attention. But now that I know that there's LORE in this, NOW you have my attention
Okay nevermind. There's absolutely nothing else on mangadex atm. I'll keep my eyes peeled though, somebody definitely needs to pick the rest of these up

Wait, so this canonizes the fact that she was childhood friends with our nameless protagonist?

That changes everything because now it's not "maybe it's true or maybe she's batshit crazy". It's "it's totally true and there's something seriously wrong with him if he's forgotten everything about her for no explained reason."

And honestly I'm not 100% sure the latter is a super-interesting concept that can sustain a series.

LOL maybe he's gonna end up being a 'scumbag' (although i guess bit harsh of a word for like a 10 year old) who ended up just promising every 'cute girl' something similar or so and that's why he doesn't remember , since kids are a bit more shameless about that kinda stuff

Umm.. it can be nothing serious. People forgot and then change. Especially the doofus one. And with elementary schooler's memory to add that. I wish for the best for the girls who cherish them and make effort while the guy doesn't really care about that at all

Image size adjusting aside, this is the exact same feeling when reading the authors' one shot advert for another authors' light novel.

Honestly some of the best stories out there are locked behind a wall steeper then the language barrier comics have, the barrier of novels, and you have a very good chance of finding a comic whose whole purpose in life(instead of making sweet money through sales)is to promote for the novel.

But the real whiplash is when a novel gets an animated series, does pretty darn good, but then never gets another season, even if the novel has so much content, and there's no comic to read up about it...

...or the only comic is just the promo comic...

huh, looking at the timeline and this one makes me notice how much of what I read can be summed up as "loser guy gets isekai'd" or "loser guy bumbles through romance". I'm not sure when was the last time I read a story about a person starting a successful business, or just generally being successful and competent, in a modern setting, if ever.

I've been waiting to see this fully translated. I can finally say Ritsu Igarashi without fear of it being called a spoiler.

So TWINTALE is in fact the name of her brand and clothing company. Ritsu isn't just a long-time friend but also a co-founder. And all the notes from the author finally allow Hinami to beat the "crazy landmine girl" allegations and put the ball in the protagonist's court to explain why he has somehow completely forgotten her from fifth grade.

It's kind of disappointing to know she sold the business, so she isn't really a CEO anymore but the fact remains that she's still loaded and ready to make her romantic dreams come true at her age. Except for the part where she's tunnel-visioned on him, this is actually a nice success story.

I wonder if Urami will appear too? Inky-black eyes deadpan-type girl might be fun to have around as a foil to both girls. But based on the other illustrations on page 2, she only appears in TWINTALE Revolution (so far).
