I thought it was implied she only got the twintails/pink hair in high school unless it's the 'animanga logic' where pink hair is common (cause that flash back was in a filter to where it's hard to tell)

Although i think there were some 'childhood friend' manga where it was a comedy of them having multiple and not remembering them all/which one being the 'real' one
