Starting to get the impression that the spell used wasn't really to save the actual Mitsuba, but a god summoning ritual and the worst pair answered while dragging an innocent human soul to exist on the mortal plane.
Both of them are absolute menaces. Whoever gave her a high position when she casually throws misfire explosives out the window must be pretty crazy themselves.
It seems the manga is catching up with the volume 2 of the novel
Mitsuba had a conversation with both of her personalities after she was killed by a traitor that masaccred her training artillery unit and kidnapped nobles, a war started in which she and Krone fought and defeated the enemy's army and occupied a fortress, she killed her step brother who was a general sending her step mom into a breakdown and thanks to the war she was appointed as senator while Sandra continues with her revolution plans

I only found out about this manga recently thanks to a viral tweet (warning for spoilers lol) by the mangaka and I only read it today. Thanks for the translations!! I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far, it's my jam in so many ways! I can't believe how much I actually miss fantasy-military stories.
Turns out the author's previous novel, "The Girl Who Ate a Death God", was already in my to-read list since god knows when lol. I'll read it someday.

I already know from the cover of volume 1 alone, but oh my god, that is an amazingly gorgeous art!
The manga's art is great too, I think it's perfect for this story. I especially love the way the mangaka drew eyes, they look so soft, yet so mysterious! Mitsuba is a perfect blend of cute and creepy, the gap when she switches is especially striking, I love it.
oh wonder if the other two 'mitsubas' were also reincarnated from somewhere, if not some demons that also went into the "host" body from her fathers experiments
