Here you go, a new chapter of "MIX"!

Touma's broken fingers saga continues, huh... I mean, why couldn't both Sou and Otomi question the explanation back when the injury happened? Kitagawa's probably going to get more screen time in the following chapters, I think it's likely that he'd come to watch Meisei games for research purposes (together with Otomi?). Apparently, we'll also get a new character! Interesting which archetype she'd follow.

Please note that the next update is going to happen two days earlier than usual, on November 10th!

He knows! Souichirou totally knows Touma lied! Otomi is starting to wonder too. Here we go.

LOL Sou took one look at Tou's training and was like "No, thank you." I love how much the brothers admire one another. Tou's always calling Sou a genius, and Sou knows damn well how much hard work Tou puts into pitching.

I think they just trust Touma so much that they know he wouldn't lie about something like this. There's no reason to question it. Why would he lie? Only later after they've had time to absorb the strangeness of the explanation, and worry is no longer at the top of their minds, do they remember the events before the break. Thanks for the chapter!

Did I totally forget the title from previous chapters or is it the first time they mention it?
Anyhow who knows if this is a little jab to Kimagure Orange Road given the theme or maybe I'm just reading too much into it (KOR is amazing and I love any kind of reference to it).

Also, the broken fingers stuff continues, and while I initially thought Sou somehow figured it out already and just kept it a secret, it looks like he really was oblivious and is only now starting to (maybe?) realize what really happened... but is Otomi on the right track as well? Who knows?

Yup, it was mentioned before, during Haruka and Gorou talk, I think. I even wrote a note about a possible reference to KOR, lol 😅 . But interestingly, I've also learned since then that Adachi had a one-shot story "Kimagure Punch" (now it's a part of "Short Program"), which even predates KOR - it was written in 1977, while KOR was serialized in 1984-1987. But this one-shot is fairly unknown, and I don't think there's any connection between these two works, especially since the word "kimagure" (whimsical) isn't unique for manga titles at all.
