Plot twist: nobody killed Miyu-chan, she killed herself so to make these two dorks sort out the problems of their past classmates while they look for the murderer who does not exist. Because that seems to be the trend this manga is taking
to be honest my plot twist is kind of close to it. But it's that the fake miyu is the real miyu.
don't know if it would be as their role are reversed (the fake miyu died) or she just is lying

Yeah, this story seems like the type of "mystery" story that does not actually want the viewer to guess the twist ahead of time, so they will just reveal some random person you have never seen at the last second, or some shit like that.

Just so the author can go "BET YOU ALL WOULD NEVER HAVE GUESSED IT WAS THIS HUH!?"

Dunno about this one... if it's only about one rich kid being mean to everyone else because he can't live up to the expectations of his parents, it's gonna be weak compared to the last 2...

Either this or it's actually Yuushin who killed her :thonk:

A rich and seems like talented kid that was burdened with high expectation from his parents?? And looking at his expression when he review his mock exam score, seems like his parents demands him to go to medical school. 👀

That second option would be way too cliche, the typical MC did something in the past and somehow forgot about it until the plot decided to reveal it to us readers while also conveniently jogging his memory trope

I don’t care how hard bro has it that’s no reason to be mean to others :angery:
it's a kid stressing about uni entrance exams
he's got that added pressure from high achieving parents too
maybe somewhat emotionally distant/neglectful if this'll follow tropes

So he's a prick then? Guessing that he's being forced to cram for straight-As and a top of the line school because both of his parents are "doctors" and expect him to be the same. So he's become a douche to anyone that has free time or doesn't take everything seriously.

"University chartered college" <-- What does this actually mean? It sounds a bit above high school, which they're supposed to be in.

I'm guessing he got depressed after Miyu left due to them being close friends and he never got another one, probably leading to poor grades and poor soccer skills. On top of that he seems to have a dislike for superficial people as seen with his contempt for plastic surgery before commenting on what his parents said, who might be superficial people themselves. Probably why he snapped at the girl too. She never once spoke to him or tried to get know him but went straight to asking him to be her boyfriend and not even directly but in a letter.

This kid probably feels like he's being used by everyone then his possible long lost friend shows up and asks for help with a reunion and not to just rekindle a friendship. No wonder the kid was irked by them.

You beat me to the punch. I just started to suspect something similar.
Not that she killed herself, but everything is sort of an accident, maybe someone was involved but no one knows or was intentionally left out by some reason, and these two will just go on and solve the problems for all the classmates - and along the way, solve the complex current Miyu has >> That's my whole series plot prediction at this point.

If I had to guess, it's a school belonging to a University that practically guarantees admission to that University if you can keep up with its program.
