Yeah, it's the annoying writing gimmick called "Mystery box".The amount of mental gymnastics is near National level to understand this plot. Or is the Mangaka just on something that they should be sharing?
Another typical occurdance is the writer already has a solution planned out but the fans have already guessed it, so then there's a hasty backtracking and random new ending. (Looking at you JJ Abrams)Yeah, it's the annoying writing gimmick called "Mystery box".
Where the whole point is to milk the mystery for as long as possible, and not give the viewer any hints as to what the solution is.
Usually these types of writers just pull the solution to the mystery out of their ass at the last moment, cause many times even the author themselves didn't actually know what the mystery was.
Nah i think that one is on a whole another level of its ownThings are accelerating and getting more complicated, I only hope it won’t drag for too long, these kind of stories tend to become ridiculous if they last too long, like This one for exampleI hope the author really knows where she’s going too
Thanks for the tl
I’m assuming it might also be the volume endAnyone else feel like the last few pages gave the "I got to speed to the ending cause I got axed" flag?
I absolutely hate when they do that. Your writing isn't going to be any better just because you "tricked" the audience with something nonsensical. If anything, the fact that people figured it out is proof that what you had planned was logical and consistent. It's so pathetic, ruining what you write out of some misplaced sense of pride.Another typical occurdance is the writer already has a solution planned out but the fans have already guessed it, so then there's a hasty backtracking and random new ending.
