The anime was decent and felt like a worse version of Black Clover.
The Opening song and animation was the best part of the show (again Black Clover's OP/ED songs are very well done)
So many 'still frames and mouth flaps'
Yet another semi-raped Isekai adaptation
I enjoyed the anime if i look past the still frames and bad action sequences (esp. the fight with the demon)
Oh well, I hope we get a season 2 since the manga situation is not looking good.

The light novel is divided into parts & getting adapted by different artists.

Part 1: Bokutengou (Artist 1). Even the manga cover art feels like it is done by a different artist each time. WTF is this? haha

Part 2: Oshima Kaworu (Artist 2). The art looks disgusting; the character faces, fuck me -_-

Part 2.5: Yuchi Sumika (Artist 3). Side Story where art looks more like the anime, and has backgrounds drawn in it, which is good

Part 3: If this doesn't get axed, maybe a 4th Artist will be working on it

I wish they hired one proper artist and redid the story from the start...
Oh well. -_-

This manga is... OK. Probably like 6.5/10, rounded down.

The art is kind of meh, and using cgi monsters doesn't improve it.
The pacing feels off, often I scroll quickly through a chapter and go "huh, barely any plot progression in this one either".
I vaguely remember the book being better than this, but not by much because I didn't finish that one either.

It's weird because the plot and worldbuilding feels more competent than standard trash isekai, but it's kind of missing something...
