@AdamaGeist it was written as part of a Trigun anthology. Not sure why it's here, instead of in that collection. It was enjoyable, though, revisiting the world of one of my first anime through the lens of my favorite mangaka.

oh it's about a particular world that's already established that's why it's even more confusing than usual.. probably compounded by the fact they keep talking about plants but I see no plants.

in trigun the 'plants' are those lightbulby things - think more like 'power-plant' not 'garden-plant'
