Sophie looks great, but does she really think she's fooling anyone dressed like that? Even a half blind man would recognize that fiery hair and dynamite figure so unless the mask blocks out powders and gas attacks it's completely useless if it's only purpose is to hide her identity. Then again, could be one of those open secret type things where everyone knows it's her, but because of the 'disguise' can pretend it isn't to avoid any political ramifications or fallout from going after her. Also, MC can't destroy the swamp as that would cause extreme irreparable environmental damage that goes against the teachings of a caring and considerate modern man. Unfortunately most business people are uncaring and inconsiderate for anything other than lining their pockets with money as quickly as possible no matter the cost to others so would happily pave over the swamp if they think it'll be profitable.
