The story won't be as good without Sylphy, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. What I worry about is that this story is going in the direction of effeminacy popular among JP authors--the same that would have the equally effeminate MC reject even a goddess like Sylphy for a plain, near-flat female like Katsuragi. That would tank my interest in this story, despite the extraordinary work Teri Terio's put into it--and why not? If I wanted the love story between a sissy--one who fears the big breasts of a beautiful girl--and some wall with a pair of knobs on it, I could read a dozen other manga for that. Only one way to find out how this goes, though.
That said..."Just like a goddess", this fool says, while his eyes pop over every girl except the gorgeous literal goddess that's always nearby and obviously smitten by him. Can't help but wonder if that was intentional.
