jumpscared by taxes, what a world
He bought a card to upgrade his newest card (lilith or something, forgot the name, the small one)My brain already fried when they mentioned tax
Can someone explained to me in bird-brain language of what the end calculation mean.
Also wtf is that 9 millions card expenses is? I didn't remember he bought card other than the 1 million pack it mentioned
Also for tax, that mean he dont need to pay tax (for this years) because the income he get immediately used for dungeon expenses. My brain already fried when they mentioned tax

Not exactly. He owes net zero because he spent the money he earned on things necessary for adventuring. Money that immediately goes back into your business is not taxed. It's "deducted" from the total amount you earned (Gross income), and you pay taxes on what's left (Net Income). So did he basically make a net zero from adventuring because of taxes?
I was thinking the same thing; it's not often that a series bothers to take the next step from "government regulates dungeons" to "government taxes your income from dungeons".I don’t think I’ve seen any manga like this where taxes just cropped up as something that wasn’t some excuse to overthrow a government.
Mine has all regular taxes automatically uploaded to the gubernamental office's databases and an official digital app for doing the returns so unless you do something out of the ordinary (like buying/selling a house of having it for rent, financial operations...) it isn't much of a pain, we just have to review the tax returns draft and include or modify as needed. If you do though...I seriously cannot express how thankful I am that I live in a country that uses pay as you earn. Seems insane to have people do taxes individually if not self employed
