Kinda disappointing since the HG is a P. The Zilius is a 'main' Gundam, despite not having an anime, right? It should be, along with the RX-78, Wing, X, etc., as regular release

Why? Why would they overproduce a kit they weren't even sure would sell in the first place? P-Bandai allows for tighter controls and maximized profits.

I think they really did propose this as an anime. But then decided it would be more feasible as a manga instead.

Could very well be still planning on doing an anime of this, similar situation with Unicorn where in that case the light novel was released quite close to the anime version. The manga serving as a way to test the waters i guess.
