Saw that this manga which I had not seen had ended so I marathoned it all in 1 go.

That was a good 2 hours of pure joy there, this was pretty good.

Clearly authors first romance/slice of life manga chapter 11 felt like filler and the beginning wasnt too strong either. (this still was better than split lover series that is absolute poo poo and the author should get a real job) 6/10 characters didnt have character and the story didnt have story.

That was just criminally cute ^_^

Thanks for the ride; entertaining and adorable all the way! Somewhat brief maybe, but it's quite refreshing to have a story last fewer than 200 chapters every now and then :p

Nice variety in the ending chapters. Defo kicked it up a notch.

Also thank you for your hard work in bringing this to its end.

Cute series.
Author clearly wanted to go on longer but I think Arika being too annoying at the start really hurt the series runtime. I would have liked to have seen what happened to Kuraku's mother and how the rest of the family turned out in the future, but at least we get a small flash forward.

Wait...

During the playground scene Konoka says that she heard lots about her dad as a kid from grandma.

Arika's mom is dead and has been for the whole story. Does that mean that Reisuke's mom woke up from her coma at some point? And the author just totally missed covering that? Having her wake up and see where her son is at now, that her own mom is there, and meeting Arika wasn't worthy of at least one chapter?

That's a shame.

Maybe it's Reisuke's grandma instead. Japanese elderly live quite long after all.

This manga had so much potential for so many more chapters. The super unique, hilarious shoujos with amazing, non boring leads always get axed early. 😩

I was wondering about this too. Feels like there were so many plot holes due to the series ending so quickly. I feel like either the mom woke up from the coma OR it was a mistranslation and they meant to say “great grandmother” instead.
