Nah... Cats usually leave half their food in the bowl due to whiskers fadigue.

...and then you refill the bowl, with the same thing it ate this morning...
...the cat comes up, smells the food, reels back as if it's something rancid, gives you a "are you trying to kill me?" kind of look and walks off...
...then you come back in 2 hours and the whole bowl's cleaned out...
