It's interesting to note that the version of Chupacabra the artist used as the basis for the Monster Girl design in this chapter appears to be the original 1995 Puerto Rican Sighting known for being small and reptilian in appearance with a prominent stripe of spikes extending down the spine rather than the more well-known Mexican Chupacabra that appeared later on as a hairless canid.
