American: I use neither Metric, nor Imperial systems. Instead... I use the US Customary System!
Makes me remember the american tourists I've saw on the street about 10 years ago, that were PISSED they had to walk to see the tourist spots. He did that too, but guns came first so they're even more second nature to the average American than walking.
SIMBAJane, don't give up! You're an American! You were born with the strongest counter measure to the metric system, gifted to us by our great ancestor George Washington!
GUNS! Remember who you are!
Why the fuck would I walk, I have a car?He did that too, but guns came first so they're even more second nature to the average American than walking.
Stop over complicating things.17cm ~= 7in
5300kg/cm2 ~= 75k lb/in2
60km/h ~= 37mph
17 cm = ~one squirrel long
5300 kg/cm2 = ~one truck of weight on a stamp
60 km/h = ~656 gumballs per second
Thank you, at least some people here can make some sense.Ah yes. The American system of measurements....
- Washing machines per Browning Hi-Power
- Football fields per moon landing
- Garbage trucks per train wrecks
As God intended.American: I use neither Metric, nor Imperial systems. Instead... I use the US Customary System!
then you have south eastern ontario, where we interchange units regularly, where we use imperial for measuring objects, metric for distance, use lbs or kilograms depending on what we feel, celcius for tempurature, but fahrenheit for cookingListen, you'd be surprised what's taught in your native country a few years removed from grade school. Yes, some of us were taught an imperial system, different mathematical measurements. Just think of my sentences as thirty-nine different sized ants.
Ha ha funny joke! Can confirm, as an American, we are issued an American flag blanket at birth and are required to use it under threat of deportation.
That's not Ontario though, that's literally all of Canadathen you have south eastern ontario, where we interchange units regularly, where we use imperial for measuring objects, metric for distance, use lbs or kilograms depending on what we feel, celcius for tempurature, but fahrenheit for cooking
