Starts off strong as a mostly wholesome gag comic but begins to take itself a bit too seriously to maintain continuity, and the author doesn't do a very good job of balancing that seriousness with one-off gag writing being forced into a continuous narrative.

It's a minor gripe most of the time but some of the tone shifts are quite jarring. Apart from that it's quite decent, with just slightly below average writing quality overall (the jokes are, to use the modern parlance, mid) and good art. At its best when being wholesome - and that's a very good best - but it struggles to be average otherwise.
