@weeb69420 uhhh basically as a kid he was an orphan and that girl was either an orphan as well or just helped there? either way the girl knows the guy from back when they were kids but since the guy was so young he didn't remember her. also the blanket thing at first was a lie and she wasn't really his blanket until his blanket actually possessed her and wanted to like take her over so that the guy would want to use the blanket again instead of just having it tucked in the closet. they get together at the end as you can see. he opens up to his adopted family and that's basically the story

Yeah, they confess their feelings to each other off the cuff in a not so dramatic way (which is kind of nice but I do which there was build up and a afterwards). The also don't directly say, "let's date" but rather "continue to warm up". But them dating is pretty much a given, they both talk about advancing their relationship in the future "no more shower stuff, not yet!"

MC as little boy was a loner at a daycare/school but was happy because he had his favorite blanket at all times. Sometime later he meet FMC (who is a couple years older) at said daycare/school, MC notices the FMC isn't feeling comfortable and shares his favorite blanket to FMC. FMC becomes extremely grateful that MC does that and becomes extremely attached to MC at daycare/school. Fast-forward, several years, MC (now a teenager) meets FMC (now a adult) (he doesn't remember her) again who claims that she is the personification of the blanket and it's her mission to "warm up" the MC in various of ways (MC tends to feel cold). MC starts develop feelings for her but she sees him as a brother. Later, some supernatural stuff happens with the FMC where it's actually revealed that her body is being taken over by the spirit of the MC's favorite blanket. The blanket spirit uses the FMC body to comfort and share it's feeling with MC before going away. MC and FMC confess each other feeling and continue to "warp up" (aka start dating).
