That is some wild bias to think this culture wouldn't have cheese; humans have had cheese longer than we can find written language.

Native/First Nation people and Europeans both had cheese for literally thousands of years; beer, bread, cheese, and cooked meat from domestic animals all pre-date writing.

For any fantasy culture to lack such basics is ridiculous; means that they probably haven't figured out much beyond stone tools, not that they have amazing steel and mithril that they invented themselves.

Crazy wild bias to think that they wouldn't have a basic foodstuff.

There’s so many small things about this manga that become detractors when focused on even a little bit. It just occurred to me just how strange it is that MC keeps going on and on about his “not aging” but despite that has never explored what the experience of long life is for ANY of those around him. His gramps has lived for 100+ years, the dryad as well, he can learn about elves and elven living from Lina, AND there’s the concept of race mixing and what that means for relationships (like that married couple of the old dude and his tiny wife in the park).
The MC has barely even BEGUN to ask questions or make some kind of soul searching relating to the experience, and that’s SO weak.
