Appreciate the upload but honestly, I could barely understand a thing. I am being really honest here, the speech bubbles are a very, very tough read, with incorrect grammar and morphology at times.
It's hard to believe you used chatGPT, this must be mostly DeepL, and then typed by hand, otherwise I don't see how there are spelling mistakes as well.
I can share with you the workflow I've used to translate some chapter for myself:

• Grab the individual pages and paste them in different layers on Photoshop/GIMP
• Create individual folders for each layer for each page (just to keep things organised). There are tools that automate this.
• Create the Text Inputs for each of the bubbles, ready to be type set in
• Roughly make a mask for each of the pages, so you can hide the original text in a non-destructive way
• Use window's snipping tool to grab a screenshot of each speech bubble, in order, and use an OCR tool such as google's image to text to extract the text into a doc, with all the speech bubble names, and what character is talking in each bubble
• Take the document and post it on chatGPT
• Add prompts such as: Translate this from Japanese to English, the character names are XYZ (so it doesn't become inconsistent), location names are ABC, the characters use informal speech, but specific character A uses formal speech. Be consistent throughout all the translation process.
• Revise text to see if there are any inconsistencies, but the language used should be correct, no grammar or morphological errors, much less spelling mistakes.
• Some speech bubbles might require you to give chatGPT a special prompt, since they might depend on context, simply give it the line in which the text is located in on the document and what it needs to keep in mind when translating.
• Copy and paste the translation of each speech bubble into its specific place in Photoshop/GIMP
• Adjust typesetting as required
• Make a proper clean version of the pages as required
• You're done

Keep in mind you WILL need a QC pass for this, as chatGPT is not perfect, and needs a good amount of context in order to translate things properly, but it will do the job.
Save your prompts and refine them as you go, most prompts can be reused safe for parts specific to the context of the translation at hand.
If done correctly, it will be indistinguishable from a real, paid, and quality translator, but keep in mind there will be translation mistakes due to context, always, so again, make sure to get a proper QC.

All of this requires little effort, but can take some time, and anyone with access to a PC and GIMP can do it in roughly the same time, the only difference being the quality of the typesetting and cleaning of the pages. From there, only the understanding of Japanese and English will play a role in making double sure the translation is proper and the QC makes sense, if you're not a native of either language and have good enough knowledge of the other, you're likely to stumble quite a few times, so again, QC! Get someone that can QC things properly!!

Why did I do this? Simple, while I appreciate the effort of people like this, many others do it to snipe, perhaps even to grief other tl groups, and with shit quality translations, typesetting, engurisu, and other shenanigans. With a somewhat comprehensive guide like this, if they care even a bit, the translations will be better, understandable, and even enjoyable, while griefers and other unwelcome people will pop out the same amount of bs, so perhaps they can be instabanned or something, I dunno, but at least we'll be able to tell at a glance, maybe, perhaps.

i mean, i don't want to see someone machine translate a chapter way ahead of what's been accurately (?) translated. that happens a lot and it's worse than this.

I want to say that no AI machine translation service is ever going to work properly. A recent study showed (https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2025/new-ebu-research-ai-assistants-news-content) that when running basic news articles through AI for summaries it is wrong 45% of the time. If you strip the text from a manga and feed it into an AI for translation it's not even going to have the ability to search the internet and figure out the context (and fail literally as often as not at that).

I didn't mind machine translation when it was just pulling text, throwing it through a few of the old school automated text-to-text services and trying to suss out the meaning. It wasn't intolerable so long as you at least had a native english speaker on the team.

Please stop doing false translations. If a capable team sees that this series is already being translated they may move and work on another series. I enjoy this series and these translations are not worth publishing.

So I'm a machine now? LOL
I'd be better off as one, at least I wouldn't have to pay rent, food, and bills in general, and taxes.
But honestly, the fact some people, like me, care to create an elaborate post, doesn't automatically mean they're bots... seriously, things are getting to really dumb levels.
Also, I said it's a really, really tough read, not that it can't be understood at all. If your tolerance level to written text is that high, good for you, but it really needs a proper retranslation and QC pass, the text has many issues, far too many for me to name.
