This manga is so boring. I really don't understand who is this for. Started rough but with a good premise (life/adventure with fluffy creatures) then that gets dropped the moment the protagonist meets other people and from that on he will NEVER be alone with his familiars again. His familiars become just background noise very quickly too as the author seems too preoccupied with making entire pages of cooking and eating where nothing happens. I won't hide that the multiple times were Snow (the wolf) asks him to run together but doesn't because the author kept him leashed with other people who (so luckily!) had to go exactly where he had to and hogged every interaction!
This manga also has many other flaws typical of isekais, for example the protagonist inventing things that there's no way everyone else didn't think about yet and how good japanese things are (WOW bathing in hot water!? Never thought of doing that. Wow rice tastes so good!)
The author also likes to put the protagonist in poorly written situations that go nowhere and feel like a waste of time.
All relationships feels fake and forced, everyone becomes a friend instantly, and even the most seen characters have no depth.
I read this hoping to finally find a manga with prominent beast companions that don't turn into humans two chapters in or badly written, this one has neither prominent beasts (even the wolf has no important dialogue or scenes after the first chapters), or good writing. It's nothing, just generic slow-life slop. Yes i read it to the last chapter to make sure.
Tldr: the mofumofu is just background, the writing is terrible, half of the manga is just about eating (not even in-depth enough to be interesting), don't pick this up if you want to read a manga about life with beast companions.
