I feel like most of the comments of hate for this series have been dumb until this point. What in the world happened. Is this now a shounen? Where are the missing 100 chapters? Did the author give up on another story and just banked on this and prayed?

it's not that hard to understand lmao. keigo's subordinate saw him feasting on fuyuki and since he survived and was basically on the verge of discovering a lot about "V" he got to join the vampire extermination team. keigo on the other-hand, lost his job and after realizing that he is truly somewhat of a vampire now (whether he is a frail or a demi-vampire) he started to help the loli with her job and is now one of the vampires who hunt other vampires. thus, he got introduced to the team the loli is in and is now reporting to them and the first vampire, which is where we are now. you would understand this if you weren't speedreading dummies.
