This really has some great art, the most aesthetically pleasing yaoi I ever read.
I'm more into yuri and I can tell you that a lot of them would benefit from such drawing skills

I'm really not into this male on male stuff but I really enjoy this. I wish the kids here would stop rating things so lowly if it's yaoi, too "problematic," personal reasons. Even if you hate the topic, even the characters, it's right to consider effort in story and art. This one does both well. It's fairly lighthearted and cute.

 

[RD]

This one is really interesting. Both characters have their own issues and big flaws but they're both patient and supportive with each other, since they can understand they pain even if they don't know the full story. I like how naturally they're drawn to each other, their personalities get along well. To summarize, I like it.
Now, trigger warning: Of course spoiler, I will write also a bit explaining what. Remember this is about a male prostitute during the Edo period so most of these are obvious.

It all happens in one or two chapters, it isn't by any means glorified or taken lightly which I give kudos for. It's very explicit, I actually felt uncomfortable in some parts so I skipped some. While it helps you to understand the character and his background better. I think you can get the idea without seeing all that so if you really want to read it I reccomend to just skip those pages.

Also: I'm not sure if this should be tagged with the trigger warning since it's not the main focus of the story.

This is a great story, and I love it so much. When I first encountered this manga several years ago, I thought, "oh it's another one of those sad kagema stories." When I sat down and read it, I was totally absorbed into the universe that the artist created. This is truly one of the most heartwarming stories I've ever read.

Now that the 7th and final volume has been released I really hope that the translation picks up again! It's such an amazing manga
