Thanks for the chapter, 8ML.
Of all of them, I thought that the only person who didn't know--Dark Mangirl--would express some kind of contrition for her unwitting misdeeds.
Nope, it's still just all about her in the end. No surprise, becaue she still knew that Nobuyasu was with
someone, and she didn't care. Should burn her to death that she was trying to steal the boyfriend of her "best friend", of all people, but hey--there are cumbrained readers to satisfy, right?
Unfortunately, looking at the raws, there won’t be a harem ending. But, there is an epilogue/bonus chapter that does seem to tease a potential harem.
Speaking of such readers, there would be no reason for this manga to exist if this is in fact the case; he should have just written another
To Love-ru instead, minus a girl like Mone--that's almost certainly what his editors would prefer. That said, this reminds me of something interesting.
Tons of people who shouldn't read this manga--because of the kind of girl it ostensibly advertises as the subject--nevertheless flock to it and rage that the embodiments of their constantly met preferences aren't depicted as the winners, frequently spouting the all-too-common reason for their aversion to said main girl and thus their preference for harem outcomes...but so many make no secret of their hatred of
Hajimete no Gal's direction--particularly its fixation on everyone except for the female lead.
Maybe it's because there's something about Mone that triggers hatred in these readers--almost certainly the aforementioned reason for their aversion, which is opposite what Yukana embodies and exhibits: Yukana is airheaded to the point of infidelity--you can't be of such character and lay claim to either intelligence or kindness. Yukana is as she is, yet no one wants to see the side characters doing what the mobs do here in this manga; Mone is as she is, conversely, and the aforementioned readers are desperate to see NTR.
