@Giga

she literally fell to her knees in despair realising how innappropriate she was being to her best friends boyfriend, she was only upset with Nobu because he led her to believe he had an unrequited crush on someone, he didnt tell her he was dating someone and if she knew she wouldnt have tried to win hmi over

That is one of the easiest interpretations to come to. I would know, because I thought something similar, myself: I thought she'd immediately realized that she was betraying her best friend. Dark Mangirl (this name, BTW, is a play on words--if you played a certain game from the '90s, you should recognize the simian parallel) berating Nobuyasu right after is what disabused me of that idea: to begin with, Nobuyasu was at least involved with someone. Mangirl knew this: the panels in which she put two and two together showed the one in which she thought she was competing with Mone for Nobuyasu's interest--which was already elsewhere. Knowing that, she should have backed off, herself--whether Mone did or not--but she didn't. She didn't, and instead incessantly made aggressive advances at Nobuyasu--who, himself, never responded positively to those advances nor otherwise indicated receptiveness. Why should he have? At the very least, he was interested in someone else--not her.

Under any other circumstances--ESPECIALLY if the recipient was female--most people would be clutching pearls over how "creepy" that behavior was, but Mangirl gets a pass.

But then she finds out that she was trying to cuck her own best friend; because she couldn't deal with the shame, she tried to save face by shifting blame--in her typically aggressive fashion--to Nobuyasu. Nobuyasu didn't owe her anything--neither explanation nor apology: she shouldn't have been trying so hard to throw herself at someone who wasn't receptive, she shouldn't have been so eager to attempt shifting the interest of someone who clearly had none in her toward her, and it shouldn't have taken her finding out her target is her best friend's boyfriend to make her desist (which, I'm almost certain, she won't).

Mangirl knew this
no she didnt, he only said he had someone he liked, he didnt tell norimply that he was actively dating that person

and considering the amount of time she spent around him she knows he doesnt interact with girls she isnt familiar with so could feel confident that his crush was unrequited

I said more than just that, bud. You also replied while I was editing, so you probably didn't get the finalized post.

Regarding the rest, that's only more of a reason she shouldn't have been pressing him--add it to the rest of what I said. If a guy is actively avoiding girls as you said, it should at least raise a flag in the mind of a girl with an eye on him; combined with what I said, it should have given Mangirl a big clue, but she was too self-centered to get it.

Your entire rant is based on the false assumption that she knew he was dating someone when she didn't

All she knew is that he had someone he liked, she had no reason to believe that person liked him back and this chapter proves if she knew he was dating someone she would have backed off

If what I said amounted only to a "word salad" to you, then of course you could never see its substance.

Inevitable ignorance leading to an inevitable evaulation--and they both started with your perception of "word salad". Why'd you bother if you could not grasp--let alone understand, given the pejorative you used--what was being said?
So no actual response? Got it. It's fine. If me saying word salad bothers you that's fine. I knew you wouldn't properly respond to my post anyway but still made an attempt anyway

Also lol

No I could grasp what you were saying it was just garbage and you aren't some literary analysis genius. You are so hellbent on on calling all the side characters "mobs" and making childish descriptors of them instead of just using their names or an accurate archetype name of them ignoring or refusing to accept that they are more developed than Mone or have more depth than her. You make stupid assertions of readers that is just inaccurate when this story in a nutshell is a harem that shouldn't have been one and people are responding to this story given to them in annoyance or indifference. I remember in another comment you were talking about how you didn't understand why other characters were liked more than Mone and I remember responding that other characters were just more interesting. Which led to this talk about morality and negative character traits and it's like bro it's not that deep. If you develop a character more than others it's no wonder people will like them or find them more interesting vs. the main heroine. This is a writing issue a lot of harems have where there's the obvious "winner girl" and other characters can't compete but time is inputted into fleshing them out leading people to like them more than the girl you should be rooting for as the "winner girl". This issue is turned up to 11 here.

I could go into detail on why you're wrong on some older comment but I think I've made my point. Hell your refusal to respond to my initial comment here tells me you just like hearing yourself talk and gas yourself up more than anything. Especially how sure you are in your assumptions without any consideration for other simpler explanations. Trying to weave some complex nuanced reason for a badly written harem story. It's not that deep dude.

Self-awareness is in very short supply, these days.

"It's not that deep dude"

lol Oh, it definitely is--but for people like you and your peers here; it's clearly deeper than you realize.
