I would like this to be a harem end but this ended a long time ago and someone mentioned it wasn't. I'm hoping that he lied.

Not sure of where the author is going... previous chapter said they didn't want to get in their way, but now they want a piece of him?

If they wanted to help them becoming closer...maybe, just maybe, letting them be alone during Christmas eve could've been an idea.

I mean I was completely fine with it being a normal, mid end. Cause despite how great the other girsl are, main girl was already locked in as winner. But the harem end.... Now this is getting interesting.

We need more harem series to actually have a harem ending, especially ones like this where they give each of the girls plenty of time to flesh them out. It’s honestly annoying how rare harem ending tend to be.
It's always beyond my understanding how authors make harems for the sake of 'who's best girl', why you would want to make a manga that is going to satisfy only a percentage of your fanbase, I doubt a harem ending would give a worse reaction than having fans of like 3+ characters being not satisfied, even worse when the most popular character is never the winner. Tho here is even worse when it didn't even need the harem aspect when the story already started with the couple and there's no competition to begin it.

Yeah, it’s seriously frusting and I agree with pretty much everything you said.

Honestly, my biggest pet peeve with harem stories is when the blatantly obvious girl ‘wins’ in the end, making all the other romantic options feel utterly pointless. Like, I feel I’d be a bit more tolerant of harem series having a non-harem ending if the girl who ‘won’ was a curveball or one that wasn’t unbearably alluded to since the beginning of the story. Something like Nisekoi comes to mind. All the other girls felt completely pointless because there was no chance the MC wouldn’t pick the ‘main’ girl.
