Mone already does--she inherited much of her mother's physical phenotype. Quite the blessing.

It's certainly a more realistic take than "you'll only love this person for the rest of your life". Doesn't change the fact that the series focused too much on girls who already lost before chapter 1.

The chapter's a microcosm of the entire series (and not the only chapter that is, either). If those four and their lust weren't included in the chapter, nothing would have been missing--they served no purpose, being the "satellite characters" people claim to hate so much. They couldn't be more out-of-place when even the parents of the girl they hope to cuck are present; the only way they could beat that is if they continued their attempts in front of those parents.

Seriously, if someone read everything up to this chapter and still doesn't see just how badly those four were shoehorned into the story, you can consider him just as blinded by lust.

That was a poor opening on Nobuyasu's part: he was scared stiff of Mone's father from the gate and already knew to be, since he showed up without any display of amicability--to call him "father" when he knew acceptance was clearly not yet on such a man's mind was a bold risk taken, but pretty dumb. lol

That said, Mone's father had a point: Nobuyasu should never have tolerated these girls continuing to hang around him when he's got a girlfriend. True to reality, women will generally only hang around you and only want you around if they're interested--much like men, but it's much more so for them--and the Mob Squad's still hanging around together (it should be noted that they're all doing this despite knowing of each other's interest in Nobuyasu, as well) and orbiting Nobuyasu despite not only knowing he's in a relationship, but even seeing the couple's families (minus Nobuyasu's parents, of course) meet. Nobuyasu should have long told them all to pound sand without mercy, as they're all still there for one thing--and it's not to be friends.

Daisy's numbers were off: those orbiters numbered four poor specimens of humanity, each gripped by rut; that's the only way they they could continue to hover around Nobuyasu despite the pain of his rejection--which hits a woman much harder than it does a man--and such a family meeting taking place.
