Part of that may be true but a lot of the gaijins in Japan give themselves a bad name. I've lived there before and a lot of the douchiest sleaziest western dudes are there just to bang and get drunk while ignoring the customs and the social norms. It's ironic how that works because if immigrants tried to pull off that crap in U.S., the locals would not be so understanding.
