A short chapter, but because it's so short, it's more effective in my opinion. It's a breather moment to take in what we just saw and to let MC process what he's about to do and how he should do it whilst weighing the moral options.

It's a chapter that's very dense with a lot going on underneath a seemingly banal and uneventful surface
