Yo, I'd hoped, but I didn't exist then to actually team up. I've never seen a fictional manga group go beyond 2, so I figured she'd be a mentor figure for the series, but actually being the writer of the group is a much better deal.

The chapter titledrop at the end makes me so fucking angry. The actual title of this series is most literally “Monochrome Two People”, which I've translated as “Monochrome Pair” (but it could also be “Monochrome Two”, “Monochrome Couple”, “Monochrome Duo”, whatever). The title of this chapter IS A PLAY ON THE SERIES TITLE and is literally “Monochrome Four People” which I would stretchedly translate as “Monochrome Quartet” to stay in line with my series title translation, or if I wanted to be in line with MANGA Plus's “Monochrome Four”, then I'd go back and make the series title “Monochrome Two”. Regardless, the vast majority of readers will not get this play BECAUSE THE FUCKERS OVER AT MANGA PLUS MADE UP THE BULLSHIT “MONOCHROME DAYS”!!! THEY PULLED IT RIGHT OUT OF THEIR ASS!!! AGH!!! And it so fucking disgusts me when the made-up official English title ends up on the Japanese books. Happened with Best Wishes, Bitch and Frieren Who Sees Off The Dead too. AGH!

Background artists very rarely get cover credit, but they do exist, so any writer-artist duo that employs one would be such a trio. (Altho, you'll often see more than 1 art assistant, so it may be more than a trio.)
