The design of the magic ship is magnificent. From the elegant design of what looks like inscriptions to the kingdom's glorious lion insignia. The combination of modern yet medieval architecture. The fins on the sides, how aerodynamic it looks.

The propellers facing up as the magic ship lifts off. Giving us another view of it. We get to see more of those beautiful inscriptions underneath the wings connected to the propellers.

And finally, this incredible view of the ship in the moonlight. Could you imagine being aboard this and just gazing at the moon?

Ugh! I love it all!

• Is that dock masonry? It has no lower level cross bracing. And The end of the dock is a cantilevered half-arch... plz review how arches work.
• Lol, looks like they have a 3d model set, and just scaled up a bridge model and jammed it against a tower model... Lol, no way they would actually... Oh right. That's exactly what they did.

• So then they took a submarine model, jammed some VTOL engines on it, and then to cap it off, jammed a neoclassical dome on top of it. ... ...

Not entirely related but since Licia won't play a big role in this arc, I wonder if the cover girl will change to Fiona and break Licia's 6 Volume streak as the cover girl?

Although the mangaka has an overt bias toward Licia so maybe not.

She is the one who will be standing at the end after all, so as much as I want her to remain on cover, I wouldn't mind giving a little spotlight to the poor soul already destined to failure...

As a person that really does not get the fantasy aesthetic and adores the cold war aesthetic this design is weird lol. A submarine with presumably rudders on the bottom rear like a ship would, whatever that castle like design up top is, The airship/zeppelin like crew compartment on the bottom, fancy looking design that absolutely destroys any hope for this design's not breaking apart over a city and killing thousands of people-ness and last but not the least the V22 osprey propulsion system. I can with a 100% certainty this should not be in the air and a engineer would refuse to build this design even if it was somehow possible to make it fly. Livery's cool tho. Also hold up is that a propeller at the rear bottom hull of this fucking thing what kind of ridiculously retarded engineer thinks it makes sense for a engine to be located there in a airship that I doubt has any feesable way of going a quarter of the v22's service cieling.

Something tells me he's going to have reason to go to the mountains anyways, especially with what he knows about what could happen if a particular noble's daughter dies because of a choice made by the kingdom/academy. I wonder is this perchance foreshadowing some being or something that is trying to reset the course of history that has been altered because of our main protagonist, just the usual spiel of overconfident and/or evil fools or is this just coincidence 🤔

I mean, he already thought of a list of things he'd want to do there. The steel gargoyles are particularly important, since any sword he gets from absorbing special monster cores can only be leveled by hunting more of that monster. It's his defensive ability so he'd want to level it quick.

check the novelupdates link on the manga info. Recently, someones been translating the lightnovel. The webnovel has been fully translated for awhile. Problem is, it kinda just...stops after awhile. They never released the last few chapters from their paywall and I didn't feel like checking the raws with how sudden it was so I don't know if it's satisfying but it probably isn't.
