I thought carnivorous plants actually liked the kind of soil that other plants would find detestable, and vice versa.

Yeah, it's ACTUALLY scientifically accurate that the pitcher plant girl got sick when Kimihito gave her fertilizer; carnivorous plants can't handle THAT many nutrients like that. I'm not sure the smaller girl is actually carnivorous; I think she's just a "normal" plant girl.
