Okay, so putting the discussion of how much the author has meandered on lactation arcs, I actually thought of something.
So we saw earlier on that while centaurs like Centorea look like they have female nethers at the front, their genitalia are on their horse half. Why then are their nipples not on their undersides, like real horses too?
I know it’s for the fetish but this is bugging me. If a centaur really had big boobs up front, the idea would be for her to hold her baby to nurse her. But how big would that baby be? Baby horses are still developed enough to start running around right after birth because they have a gestation period of like a year. Meanwhile humans have babies who are screaming little nubs of flesh who barely have working motor functions when they get out of the womb. So what are baby centaurs like? How big would they be, and could a mother even hold them like that?
Due to the author focusing so much on centaur milk, I’m starting to pull at the stitches in the concept and realizing that our concept of a centaur could never really exist as we fetishize them here. Thanks a lot, sensei.
Some ancient people took their love for horses/animals in general a tad too far, but not wanting to be completely shunned by their peers, they created stories of human-animal hybrids. And we just rolled with it.
You don't even have to go procreation route to realize nothing about them make sense.
Replacing the neck and head of a horse which have, effectively, very little going on with 2/3rd or 3/4th of a human (depending on how much value you put on legs) and now you have yet another conundrum in the form of how many internal organs do they have? And where are they located? How do they get enough energy to fuel everything, specifically the human brain? How beast of an organ would the lungs & heart have to be to pump blood through what is essentially 2 bodies worth?
The one really pushing any kind of sense biologically would be Rachnee as her animal part isn't possible and for reasons she's shown with a butt on the human half, front have been kept hidden I think.
This is very much related to what you might see on game forums about a posters chosen mechanic "not making sense" when they approach from real-life perspective.
Or the classic "Why mech/mecha when tank exist?"
