The anime was already incredibly risque when it aired with all the sexual references they had. When I first watched them, I didn't get it, but now that I'm an adult and have gained... some rather cultured knowledge, I'm surprised that the anime got an English dub, let alone aired in the first place. But the chapters that came after was on the knife's edge of being softcore porn in some cases. Remember when Kuruzu went to Miia's home and basically got tossed into a literal snake-pit of naked, virgin lamias with nothing but the world's sturdiest chasity belt? By God, that was a lot of tits for something that ain't hentai.

In addition to what everyone else has said, Gushing over Magical Girls is airing right now and is effectively the ABCs of fetishes. This series has nothing on that one.

I get what you’re saying. But in comparison to series like interspecies reviewers Monster Musume seems tamer. Especially since this series had a lot in book sales and readership at on time.

So color me surprised that there was no 2nd season.
