Don't listen to the guy above me. This is a short series, and obviously it's not the greatest or anything, but it's also short enough that it doesn't drag on too much. Unfortunately, due to the length, there's not a lot of time to actually build up, so most backstories are shown when they're relevant rather than being foreshadowed. I won't say that you need to read it if you like rave/rave master or fairy tail, but it's a short, fun read that, though a little poorly paced, doesn't overstay its welcome. Of course, I think that another volume would have been great for it in multiple ways, like getting to see another monster like Aki for example. Unfortunately, this is all there is, but it's worth the read.
As for how I ended up here, I read this in my public library when I was a kid. I remember being excited when I saw that the second volume had come in!
