This is such a great exploration of how a sociopath could learn the value of compassion and love. Yeah, the gramps himself didn't get it, and still viewed the children as lab rats, but he ended up instilling normal values into these kids cause there is actually a point to those positive emotions. So cool to see it from this perspective
