Monster - Vol. 18 Ch. 162 - The Real Monster

Although I'm not a big fan of the open ending, this manga was an absolute ride, from the characters, to the art, and the messages it gives, absolute kino, 10/10

To me the empty bed means that the monster is gone. Johan has a name, he's not nameless anymore, that no man's land from his visions are gone. He has a name after all. We don't know which it is and I think that's a bit of a miss, but even still. He exists.
