Once the gender bend happened, a lot of people were demanding that Leviathan scans drop it since they no longer liked it. I argued against them saying that Leviathan should be allowed to translate what they choose to translate but of course all the entitled people kept harassing them every chapter to drop (Like you noted) and most even threatened to stop donating until it was gone, im sure some even did.

Tl/dr: They all wanted a invincible mc to project themselves on too and the second the story actually took a turn for the better (Mc actually having hardships) they took it like like a five year old would take it when you tell them no ice cream

When Leviatan scans started doing this series there were a few Novel readers who warned about it. I mean they weren't wrong as soon as the gender swap happened the plot became kinda lame. It's gotten better in the last few chapters but still...

@fireuser67 It wasn't the genderswap, it was that the genderswap took place over 20 chapters in. The series is fine, but the Manhwa handled the genderswap aspect really poorly compared to the novel. No need to call people names, especially since everyone heavily exagerates the response. There was like 20 people complaining and everyone else was arguing with them, so the comment numbers made it look like there was a greater backlash than there was.

In spite the whole cultivator to fantasy isekai has to start from a weak body, but with tons of knowledge to make all the adults spit-take and fight over MC.

I actually like this one. Cultivator terminology is still confusing as ever.

This is a great story, the novel was very good as well and the manga is doing a fantastic job so far, people keep shitting on it saying gender bend but in reality they are just mad that the MC isn't broken shitting on everyone like all the other kr and cn stories they love.

I am very glad someone picked this up and are continuing the translation, it's a breath of fresh air that brings hardships, comrades that are actually important and an MC struggling to grow stronger even with all the knowledge and experience he has in a foreign world he knows not much about, especially interested in the angle of being a spiritualist and sword master, think there's a lot of possibilities fusing his power with Naiad(using a water sword instead of an iron sword and incorporating long ranged attacks into his arsenal), and none of this is even counting on the Titans, who have yet to be a major part in the story, especially excited for when he starts using his titan, which for all intents and purposes is a pretty broken titan in this world.

I read all 56 chapters in 2 days and... I absolutely love this.
I saw many people complaining about the main character's thing, but for me it was just a part of the character arc. In my opinion it was executed very well.
The characters and world also feel real and complex and I just wish the novel was translated. (If it actually is and I just couldn't find it, I would be very grateful if you toss me a link).

I'm glad the author decided to not make the MC OP without any weaknesses, and instead explores a more interesting approach to Dark losing his powers and having to start over again. It helps build his character of being an arrogant almighty god with zero stakes to his progression into a genuinely sympathetic character.

Plus gender benders are my kink. 🤬
