Looking for CLEANERS AND TYPESETTERS!

CLEANER
Beginners welcome for this role. You will be provided with digital raws, so this is a very simple job: just remove the original Japanese text away from each page. You will need to use GIMP (gimp.org), not photoshop, and training will be provided where needed - it's a very easy role, though. If you have the interest and motivation, it would easily be possible to move to a typesetting role at some point.

TYPESETTER
I'd like help kick starting two new series, so I'd prefer someone who's already at least a little experience for this. But I'm not against bringing in someone inexperienced if you're really motivated and willing to make the effort. You just need to be willing to use GIMP - which many don't seem to be willing to do, for some strange reason...

The two new series are Démokratia and Kyo-ichi.

For all roles, you can be a beginner or have previous experience - it really doesn't matter. I started out as a beginner doing all of the above roles 1.5 years ago... Any experience you might already have is just a bonus, rather than a necessity. It's way more important to us that you don't just join and then go quiet on us after a few weeks.

We have several Seinen mangas available for you to work on so you can pick and choose:

Ikigami: SAIRIN (drama, utopian world kind of thing)
Kyo-ichi (thriller/horror, cult)
Tomehane! (a fun, light-hearted series about Japanese calligraphy)
Démokratiá (sci-fi)
Nenkin Ningen Hitomoji (horror)
Shikabana - Hana, Shitai, Koto (action, supernatural, horror)

We're looking for a FRENCH > ENGLISH translator. Beginners are very welcome. This is a very easy job as around 80 - 90% of the translations have already been done, but there are still several areas where new translations and/or corrections are needed.

The translation job is for Demokratia, which is a Sci-Fi manga by Motoro Mase.
