More thorough filter for hentai pls :rejected:

Hi all, for the past few days I've noticed a massive influx of childporn to mangadex and honestly I'm quite sick of having to even view those to make sure they are childporn before reporting, so it would be a good thing if a more serious filter could be implemented that would automatically flag childporn to moderators so they can immediately remove this type of morally illegal content.
Hentai is only good until it doesn't encroach on the base of moral values and that is violence or sexual assault against children, when it does that IMO it should be severely stamped out no matter how many perverts out there enjoy them!
So please can this be done?

@Vengeance22 We don't have any plans to remove loli/shota hentai from the website. Drawn depictions aren't illegal in most parts of the world (including the US and Japan) and real stuff is already banned in the rules. Would also be ironic if we banned loli hentai when we translate it ourselves, lol.

So you're saying depicting childrape is nothing special huh? And that pointing out that it is I get many enemies here? "Morally illegal" aside (what does that even mean), if you're in fact talking about loli-themed hentai, you'd do well to notice that even some members of the staff occasionally scanlate and/or post it.

considering this site serves loli/shota hentai by choice (as you are well aware), there is a group of people who come to this site specifically for it. calling every single one of them rapists is a good way to make enemies, yes.

@phage83 that specifically calls out the PROTECT act, which was partially gutted in 2008. it's currently a legal gray area in the US as some states have laws on the books banning loli/shota hentai but there isn't an explicit banning of it at the federal level after those cases.
