What the :haa: . I hope the guy trying to kill/intimidate his sister gets caught or something, reverse intimated? :pepela:, maybe that happened a bit too long and from a death rower, but the orphanage has prison officers who maybe have some friends in the normal police.

Deserves an anime adaptation, though an Audio Drama CD would fit better.

I would even take a live action adaptation despite not really liking it. Lo and behold, there is one but upon seeing a glimpse of it on the drama wiki site "asianwiki" I think I've to take back what I said. I don't know if it's a proper adaptation or not but an anime adaptation is really one of the best way to go on adapting it, the artstyle's part of the charm.

yeah, I saw the trailer. It really felt more like a japanese soap more than an adaptation of the manga, seemed all loud, punchy and emotional like most J-Dramas. Felt like a direct opposite of the approach in the manga being silent, sombre and introspective. In my head, a proper live action adaptation would use a lot less words and more silence & negative space for the audience to fill in with their imagination.

I don't think animation would bring that much added value aside from the extra control of the pacing though.

Yeah, it's just wishful thinking on my part since Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia is going to be adapted beautifully despite the simple artstyle, it got me wondering how uniquely they could make the anime while still keeping the artstyle.
