If I invited a partner to my place and they were insistent on avoiding it I would think they had a problem with me rather than anything else. Kuroi and Haida are perfect for each other more so than most romance mangas I read I can see why these two love each other and get along. But Kuroi isn't the ideal boyfriend by any means.

Perhaps both? Kuroi does cherish her a lot. He obviously wants her to feel comfortable. And he wants to be in the car because he thinks its not the right time to be alone in the same room as her. Japan is a very conservative culture. Very old fashioned

He's honest, genuine, and respectful. I think that's an ideal boyfriend. The word women say what an ideal boyfriend is "safe" and Haida feels safe with Kuroi.

I'm the only one who thinks mangaka doesn't have any idea how to push Kuroi further? One chapter he is actually improving. While in another, he's back to his pathetic awkward side? Like I feels really off during his constant attempts to not go to Haida house even though she is the one who invited him.

It feels like Kuroi doesn't have any constant development at all compared to Haida, who we can really see a difference between her portrayal in early chapters to now.

Again Meanwhile Kuroi still stuck in his early personality that was in early chapters.

I used to smoke cigarettes for about ten years. That’s why I was super shocked/impressed if Kuroi actually quit cold turkey. But I can also believe he had moments of weakness and reverted back from time to time. 😂
