I was gonna say how I liked the way the author drew all the animals' eyes the same, with that cutesy style everyone used at least one in their lifetime, but then I realised how the old man's eyes are also the same. A little weird, but it oddly fits him.

Haida is so real, I also love taken photos of reptiles they're super cute!!!

The vibes between these two are so rancid, I love it lmao

Though, I do kinda get the feeling that she insults him more than she shows any affection towards him, at least in this chapter. It kinda feels off, because, while he is a bit of a piece of work, he tends to at least not insult her and kinda tries to cheer her up. (Him saying the "central whatever" was also kinda cuter in the raws, where he called it the "nantoka tokage" - "what's it's name lizard" but like a pun).

Here we see her mainly focusing on the animals and only either reacting coldly towards him or insulting him. It works better if they either both insult each other of if she otherwise balances it out with affection and her affection is currently too lowkey so the insults feel harsher. Or if they direct their downerism at other things, not each other. Just my two cents.
