"БОЛЬШОЙ ТЕАТР" / "ЛЕБЕДИНОЕ ОЗЕРО": "BOLSHOI THEATER" (i guess "ЯН" in the first chapter is a part of the name of some play or a ballet, but i'm not very versed, so still no idea) / "Swan Lake". About fucking time they started broadcasting this on all TV channels here...
My guess of what to come:
Stasha will definite join some kind of yet revealed revolutionist groups
His adoptive siblings will join the various interest groups introduced.
The protagonist will be in the crossfire.
Basically MC needs to pay 100 million rubles (not the current day rubles but soviet which like dollars or more expensive). And yes she still prostitutes herself, she is 25years old. Her mother said to him that he needs to pay 100million in order to free her. Bullshit plot, basically this amount is unreal, especially considering that she was ordinary street prostitute at the start. This was made in order to make his objective almost unreal to complete and when she will be 30 she will be used goods not really needed for ballet nor popular in escort industry, so the old bitch secured foolish idiot to buy her out when she will lose her value. Also i'm pretty sure there will be a lot drama before he reaches 100million mark, where someone will try to buy her out, physical abuse and etc.
Despite world building and interesting moments, i'm heavily biased against love stories with prostitutes especially where in order to get save a prostitute you need to move mountains. It may sound romantic but the prize is damaged person with whom it will be hard to create something good. Romantics with prostitute was always about bottom of society guy and girl WORKING TOGETHER TO GET OUT OF THE FILTH. Here? It seems he is working to save the princes while princes is being used by every rich Moscowit and Moscow guest....Seems so wrong on so many levels.
P.S. It's my personal bias, i cannot sympathize with MC and his ambitions seems foolish. He is risking his life everyday for abysmal amount of money for a elite plaything....And they very idea of this plaything costing that amount of money is absurd. To my knowledge the only thing that she provides for him is some intimacy and doesn't actually work to free herself from prostitution. FYI ballet performers usually retire by the age of 27 she is 25, using her as escort is okay until age of 30 after that quality and amount of clients drastically reduces while demands for gruesome fetish increases. <-- Knowing all this and thinking while reading about her makes me sick and I feel sorry for MC falling in love with her, not worth it especially considering he might die any day. Prize for risk should be something worthwhile.

That doesn't sound right. If anything the Lady has told him that he doesn't need to pay her and it sounds like she wants to nurture their relationship by having him come to watch her dance.
I was thinking that Stasha serves as a hostess for the elite and nothing more but we don't know anything yet and the raws haven't implied anything about what she does when she is not being a ballerina.
And I mean, the setting is supposed to be depressing. So two people who are holding on to am impossible dream in a dystopia sounds just about right.

I've read until chapter 19 and it is indeed implied that she still works as a prostitute. Though i do not understand does he pay "Madam" for the night or for the 100million(chapter 2 and 11). As for the ballet, sadly it is based on reality many of the ballet dancers in soviets were actually a high class escorts. So marrying one was seen somewhat bad, especially if you yourself come from "elite" rangs so the possibility of meeting her clients in "elite" gathering was quite high.
