It’s leaning really heavily into the hard-boiled Soviet cyberpunk noir aesthetic. I’m digging it, but I gotta admit that is an extremely niche genre.

Trivia time: In reality blatnoi is not an organization but a highest caste in Russian criminal hierarchy. It's a substantive noun, and as such it's subjected to inflection rules. So, correct usage would have been "blatnye" instead of "blatnoi guys".
Page 7:
Newspaper "...ОС ГАЗЕТА": probably "РОС ГАЗЕТА" - "RUS NEWSPAPER"
Page 12:
Sign in the front "ДЗ...": no idea
Sign in the back "Проте...": could mean a few things, my guess is "Протезы" - "Prostheses".
Page 15:
I find it funny how author keeps using "Ч" instead of "Ц" in Muromets' name, yet makes distinction between "Ш" и "Щ" in a story.
Page 20:
Handwritten note "Мишень": Literally "shooting target". "Цель" (simply "target"), would've been a better choice of a word.

There's nothing niche about it. It's just generic action with no real hook. Bland, mid, unspecial, made by an author who can't write and only got attention from cheap shock value in the first place. The aesthetic is only surface level.

Do enough reading and thinking and it'll happen to you too. If you still have the ability to be entertained by mediocre dreck then treasure that.
But don't worry when you inevitably become like me, it's not so bad. The scope of what you can enjoy narrows, but the depth of your appreciation for what remains will grow.

Actual good manga: Nausicaa, Freesia, Blame!, Berserk in no particular order. All flawed but great. Parts of the chimera ant arc from hxh.
Yeah, not exactly deep cuts, but things that are good usually can't escape some level of acclaim, shocker.
Occasionally decent but lesser works include others by those authors, a bit of urusawa naoki stuff, fujimoto tatsuki, vinland saga, dorohedoro, asano inio, samura hiroaki, endo hiroki kind of, parts of hokuhokusei, some of oshimi shuzo occasionally, iwaaki hitoshi, houseki no kuni, the parts of made in abyss that don't make you want to call the police, otoyomegatari for the art, dubiously shut hell, chouka kou is eh, witch hat seems plain but okay though not really my demographic, some of that old eroguro, taniguchi jiro eh, a few more unmentioned fun popcorn reads or things I can't recall.
